S.W.A.T. VAN

This van was bought new by a small city in Ohio in the mid '80s. It was used as their S.W.A.T. Van until a new S.W.A.T. vehicle was purchased in the mid 2000s at which time this became the backup S.W.A.T. vehicle. Around January of 2007 it was removed from active service but still maintained. In March 2007 I bought it from the city and added it to my collection of odd vehicles.

The few times I've taken the office crowd to lunch in it, they file out the back doors shooting "hup hup hup" like they did in the "Blues Brothers" movie. You just have to know our office.

I can't say I've always wanted a S.W.A.T. vehicle --- but it is cool!!
